When I first met Tracy, he had a beer coaster thumbtacked to his closet wall. If you know him, you know that’s not like him. He hates doodads almost as much as he hates sayings.

Sitting by a beautiful lake in August where you have to wear a fuzz (in August!) with someone you love and knowing all your friends (socially distant and masked!) are thinking of you and raising tankards of cold beer to cheer you on is a pretty nice way to have a birthday! The world is a a pretty okay place after all!
